Start here
Your first website needs facts, not a mood board.
A first website fails when you pay before you know the name, the number, and three photos of the actual work. The rest is furniture. This is the list we need to start the clock. If you cannot fill it, do not hire anyone yet — including us.
Most standard jobs here finish in under 72 hours when this list is in. The clock does not start on first inquiry. See what to send in the brief and what happens after you pay.
Bring these
| Item | Why | If you do not have it |
|---|---|---|
| Business name as it should appear | Title tag, first screen, the invoice | Stop. Pick the name first. |
| One sentence: what you do, for whom | The hero is not a slogan contest | Write it on paper. Ugly is fine. |
| Phone as digits | A thumb has to dial it. A picture is not a phone | Use the number you actually answer |
| Hours, including closed days | Wrong hours lose Saturday jobs. Wrong hours | Say “by appointment” if that is true |
| Three to ten photos from a phone | The real work beats stock. Phone photos | Take them this afternoon in daylight |
| Current URL if any | So we do not invent your copy | Instagram or a parked domain still counts. Paste it |
| Domain, or a yes that we should help | You still click at the registrar. Domain and hosting | Buy the name. A parked page is not a site. Parked domain |
You can skip these on day one
- A logo. A typed name is a mark. Website without a logo.
- A blog. Usually no.
- A chatbot. Chat vs a form.
- Ten service pages with the same paragraph.
- A cart for two T-shirts. A brochure plus the tool you already take money in is usually enough. Shopify vs a brochure.
If the list is done and you only need hours and a phone this weekend, that is the $49 hosted.
How we use the list
Pay. Send the facts. Draft. One revision. A person proofs it. Phone (813) 328-6079. Forms notify tampasbestdj@gmail.com. We do not promise #1 Google. Title, meta, Open Graph. Not a cart, app, or members portal at this price. Hire: /hire/. Longer checklist of what a live site must pass: the boring list. New business: first site for a new shop. Live work: /work/. Worldwide, 24/7. Bill is in Tampa / Zephyrhills. No public storefront.
Free next step: already have a URL? Paste it. List is ready?
