A freelancer, a gig, or a shop with a card form
A good freelancer is a person you can call. A Fiverr gig is a thread. A shop with checkout on its own domain is a process: pay, brief, proof, live. They are not the same hire.
Ask this before money moves
- Do I get the files, or only a login to their builder?
- Whose hosting? What happens if they vanish?
- Whose domain when it is done?
- How many revision rounds, in writing?
- Three live sites, not mockups, with phones that still work?
If the answers are mush, you are buying a hope. That is how $50 becomes $1,050 and a month of delay. See Fiverr vs a done-for-you site.
| Typical gig | This shop | |
|---|---|---|
| Pay | Platform, then extras in the message thread | Card on cheapfastwebsites.com |
| Proof | Maybe | A person before it is called live |
| Speed | The thread | Most standard jobs under 72 hours if the brief is clear |
| SEO claim | Often “we rank you” | Title, meta, Open Graph. No #1 prize |
| You can leave with the site | Often no | Yes — files and a host you control |
When a freelancer is the right hire
You already know them. They have three live sites you can tap. They will hand you the files. You are fine waiting. Keep them. We are not going to talk you out of a person you trust.
If you opened this tab because the last one disappeared, or the form 404s, or you never got a login: hire the shop. $49/month if you only need a page: /hosting/.
Live work: /work/. Labeled samples: /examples/. Phone (813) 328-6079. Worldwide, 24/7. Forms notify tampasbestdj@gmail.com.
