A full website is a list, not a magazine

Cheap Fast Websites · updated August 25, 2026

A full website is a list. Name. One sentence about the work. Hours. A phone a thumb can hit. Three real photos. How to reach you. Maybe a map or the towns you actually cover. Then stop. The businesses that fail at websites fail because they treat the scroll like a magazine: a blog nobody writes, a popup before the number, a fake cart, a 400-word journey, stock plates of food they do not cook.

You do not need seven pages to look open. You need the facts a stranger uses in five seconds. The one-page product is smaller on purpose. The $49 hosted is that smaller product. You host it. +$49/month and it lives on our server for life ($54).

Put these on the page

The name, spelled the way you answer the phone. Not a clever slogan instead of the name. Not a logo so faint nobody can read it. If you trade as two names, pick the one on the checks and the Google listing. Mismatched names are how people think they have the wrong shop.

One sentence about the work. What you do, for whom, where. “Mobile dog grooming in Hillsborough County.” “DJ for weddings and corporate, Tampa Bay and travel.” Not “we’re passionate about excellence.” The sentence is a filter. Wrong customers bounce. Right customers keep scrolling.

Hours, or the truth if you have no hours. “By appointment” is a hours line. “Call, we text back the same day” is a hours line. A paragraph about flexibility is not. If you close Sundays, say so. Wrong hours on a hosted websiter are worse than no site. People drive to a locked door and leave a one-star story.

A phone that is a real link. (813) 328-6079 is how this shop does it — visible, tappable, labeled Cheap Fast Websites. Put yours in the first screen, not only in a footer. If you will not answer, do not put a number. Put a form. Forms here notify tampasbestdj@gmail.com. Test it on a phone. If you never check that inbox, skip the form. A dead form is a bounced job.

Three to eight photos of the real work. Phone photos beat stock. The room, the truck, the plate, the haircut, the finished roof. Ugly and true beats a handshake on a stock skyline. If you have no photos yet, take them this afternoon. Waiting on a photographer is how a weekend page becomes a month.

Where you are, without lying. Address and a map if people visit. Service towns if you travel. “Worldwide” if you actually ship or take remote work — this shop does, 24/7. Do not list the whole state because it felt ambitious. Do not pin a city you do not serve because a cousin said it would help SEO. Basic SEO on even a simple page is a title, a meta description, and Open Graph. It is not a ranking prize. Stuffing towns does not make Google like you. It makes humans distrust you.

Optional, if they are true: prices or starting-at numbers you will still honor next month; a booking or order link you already answer (Square, Vagaro, DoorDash — we point at it, we do not clone it); a license or insurance line; a short note on parking or the second entrance. Each extra line has to earn its pixels.

When $49/month is enough

Use the pack if you need a URL on a card this weekend, you are fine with a single scroll, and you do not need a designer argument about the hero image. After you pay, you answer a short interview. A simple page is drafted from that. You still click at the registrar if you have a domain. DNS is not instant. We will say so.

Skip $49/month and buy the standard marketing site if you want a layout that does not look unfinished, you have a lot of services, a real gallery, or a story that needs room, and you want one round of changes on a full layout. Most of those jobs finish in under 72 hours when the brief is clear.

Either product still needs the boring bones: HTTPS lock icon, a phone that works, a form that arrives if you have one, photos that could actually be you. A hosted website that misses those fails the same way a big site fails. Read why websites fail if you want the short list.

Worldwide, 24/7. Phone (813) 328-6079. If you already have a Linktree, a Facebook page, or a 2014 WordPress, check it before you pay anyone. If the website you have already does the list above, stay. Do not buy a rebuild for sport.

Free next step: paste whatever URL you have now — Linktree, Facebook, a half-built page. The $49 hosted plan: $49 down, then $49/month.
