Ads vs a site
Ads without a website are a leaky bucket.
Google will take your money to send people somewhere. If “somewhere” is a Facebook page, a Google Business Profile, or a phone number with no URL, some of those clicks bounce before they can call. That is not a branding problem. That is a missing landing pad.
We do not sell ads. We sell the page the ads should land on. If you already have a working site, run ads. If you do not, buy the page first. A $49/month hosted website is cheaper than a week of wasted clicks. See landing page vs website.
Where ads can go without a site
| Destination | When it is rational | Usual leak |
|---|---|---|
| Click-to-call only | Emergency trades, one offer, you actually answer | No hours, no photos, no proof you exist after the call |
| Google Business Profile | Map pack already works and you only need the listing | GBP is not a website. Policies change. They do different jobs |
| Facebook / Instagram | Your audience already lives there | Login wall, ads on top, no bookmark. Facebook is a rental |
| A real URL you own | Almost always | Only if the form 404s or the phone is a picture |
We will not promise ads will “convert at 12%” if you hire us. We will not run the campaign. If someone is bundling “website + ads + #1 Google” for one price, they are selling a hope. Title, meta, Open Graph are in our job. A ranking retainer is not. Basic SEO is tags.
Build the pad first
- A stranger can tell what you do on the first screen.
- Tap-to-call works on a phone.
- A form arrives, or you use a booking link you already answer.
- HTTPS lock icon. The lock.
- Share image so the ad is not a blank square.
Paste the URL you have into the free check. If contact, title, or HTTPS fail, fix that before you buy traffic. An old site with a dead form is how you pay Google to send people into a wall. Looks old vs broken · why sites fail.
What this shop will build
Pay on /sale/. Brief. Draft. One revision. Most standard marketing sites finish in under 72 hours when the brief is clear. A person proofs it. Phone (813) 328-6079. Forms notify tampasbestdj@gmail.com. One-page: $49/mo.
A brochure site is enough for most shops: who you are, what you do, how to reach you. What a brochure website is. Not a cart, app, or members portal at this price. Hire: /hire/. Live work: /work/. Worldwide, 24/7. Bill is in Tampa / Zephyrhills. No public storefront.
If the “website” is still a Linktree in the bio, read Linktree vs a website. If it is Google Sites, Google Sites vs hiring.
Free next step: score the URL the ads would hit. The $49 hosted plan: $49 down, then $49/month.
